I just got engaged. Where do I begin?

First, when choosing your wedding flowers consider colors and blooms you already love. Be sure to take into account the selected wedding colors. For instance, a bouquet that compliments the bridesmaid dresses can really bring the wedding theme together. Whether you coordinate or use contrasting colors there is such a large variety of flowers and shades to choose from.

Have a theme! This can be as simple as selecting a type of bloom to be used throughout the wedding. It can also be based on season, venue, or style, to name a few. Don't forget to use the many available resources to spark ideas by looking in magazines, books, our gallery, or other online resources! The internet is an excellent place to find brilliant ideas!

What is a wedding consultation?

A consultation is a meeting to discuss your budget and ideas. Providing as much information as possible to the wedding florist can help us meet your expectations. This helps us understand the style or "look" you'd like to achieve. Many brides dream of this day and already have preconceived ideas as to how they'd like their wedding flowers to look. Are you unsure of what you want? No problem! We do our very best to inspire you with ideas.

What do I bring to my wedding flower consultation?

If possible, bring example pictures of bouquets or flower designs you like. Pictures of your bridal and bridesmaid dresses are also very helpful. Color swatches of dresses/linens allows us to better match wedding flower and ribbon colors.
